Have you named your IFK. Mines name is Clarence and no there is Not tow way communication going on between us. You will not find me in a Whole Foods or movie theater talking to myself trying to bargin with Clarence about what i should and shouldn’t eat. No for most people Clarence doesn’t negotiate, he doesn’t appeal to your resonable side, and he doesn’t give you the pros and cons. No Clarence is much more savage than that. He tells you whats going to happen, what needs to happens, and you really deep down want to happen. For most people struggling with weightloss like myself it is a battle of self control and will power. The embodiment of what is trying to destroy your self control and your will power is your IFK.

I think back to old cartoons of the angel on one side telling you what is right and will give you the best outcome. And then we see the devil in the other side which we all know gave you the option that was so much more fun. It appealed to our primal nature to get immediate satisfaction. But that is not always what’s best for us. We listen to Clarence and got the pound of Dark chocolate almonds and ended up eating all of them while watching New Girl and with that came the feeling of regret and anger.
Here and now you have the opportunity to very all of you nutritional decisions as an opportunity for you to defeat your IFK.
